Two weeks is a bit of time. I'll do my best to fill it in.

I can't remember the week before last week.

Last Monday I drove with my father and sister to Connecticut. We left around eight in the morning and got there around eleven-thirty. There I picked up my car (my grandmother left me a 2003 Suzuki Aerio that I named Bruce; I feel particularly attached to Bruce now, after I sobbed at her memorial, hands shaking as I threw dirt onto her remains) and drove it home with my sister. Left at twelve, home at three, with a lovely, glowing red sunburn on my arm and part of my leg. Went to work thirty minutes later. It was a great day at work.

The car was worth it.

Last Thursday I went to the beach for the second time this summer. Took a good friend along; we lied on a worn Snow White comforter, basking in the sun and crashing against the waves. It was a nice way to end the summer.

Now I'm at school, having gone through my first round of classes for the week.

I've only been here three days, but I already know that I need to make some drastic changes.

Today in American Sign Language 101, I learned about the term, "VOICE OFF". The professor told us that it may be hard to get into that mode.

I doubt I'll have a problem. I'm using it right now, and I'm not even signing.

I'm feeling: annoyed
I'm listening to: Bush, "Cold Contagious"
